Rural & Remote Nursing

We Come To You.

Nurses in remote settings work autonomously within a prescribed scope of practice and collaboratively with physicians or nurse practitioners to provide primary care. The main goal is to provide safe and evidence-based care for populations in remote settings Our nurses perform a multitude of tasks, including conducting a thorough health history and physical assessment to formulate a nursing diagnosis and then generate a treatment plan following the College of nursing policies and guidelines.

MHCS provides an in-depth orientation program which provides their nurses the knowledge and tools to succeed in any environment. This knowledge along with advanced assessment and critical thinking skills makes our nurses valuable to our patients and families in rural and remote communities
